The Comnet CNMCSFP series are electrical-to-optical Ethernet media converters that accept a 10/100/1000 Mbps electrical input and convert it to a 100 or 1000 Mbps optical output, selectable via DIP switch. The optical input is converted back to a 10/100/1000 Mbps electrical output, with auto-negotiation supported on the copper interface. Depending on the application, these devices can be used with one or two optical fibers through user-selected Comnet SFP modules. The CNMCSFPPoE model meets the IEEE 802.3at standard, delivering up to 30 watts of PoE+ power to connected devices. The series includes a compact single-channel mini model (CNMCSFP/M), a standard ComFit single-channel model (CNMCSFP), a dual-channel version (CNMC2SFP), and a quad-channel version (CNMC4SFP).
