The Comnet CNGE8MS is an 8-port managed Ethernet switch built to deliver reliable performance in harsh and environmentally challenging applications. It provides four 1000BASE-TX ports and four gigabit combo ports, configurable for 10/100/1000 Mbps over Cat5/6 copper or over multimode or singlemode fiber using Comnet SFP modules for connector type and distance. Exclusive Comnet C-Ring technology ensures fast network recovery to protect against interruptions, while Legacy Ring compatibility supports integration into existing Comnet X-Ring networks. Redundant DC power inputs provide uninterrupted operation in the event of a power failure. The electrical ports support IEEE 802.3 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet with auto-negotiation and auto-MDI/MDI-X features, ensuring seamless device connectivity. Designed for flexibility, the CNGE8MS is fully compatible with any IEEE 802.3 compliant Ethernet device and can be DIN-rail or wall-mounted for ease of installation.
