The Comnet CNFE200X Series are two-channel Ethernet-to-fiber media converters with PoE+ capability. Each unit accepts two 10/100 Mbps electrical inputs and converts them to a single 100 Mbps optical output. Models are available in multimode or singlemode with SC or ST connector options to support a wide range of network designs. Comnet’s Demux feature allows the replication of two converters over a single fiber, while Mux protects against multicast flooding by dedicating the fiber port as an uplink path via DIP switch control. Supporting wide-range AC or DC inputs, the CNFE200X Series is engineered for versatility and reliability. The PoE versions meet IEEE 802.3at, delivering up to 30 watts of power, with the high-output CNFE200XPOEHO model providing up to 60 watts. All PoE models can be powered using a separately purchased 48–57 VDC supply.
