The Comnet SS32-2U4 is a purpose-built 2U rackmount system that combines server, storage, and transmission capabilities in one integrated platform. Designed for centralized or edge deployment, it delivers a complete solution for video surveillance and IoT applications. The unit includes 32 PoE+ ports with up to 450W total output, supporting high-resolution cameras and connected devices. Cybersecurity is built-in, with easy-to-configure settings to secure edge IoT devices, the network environment, and onboard server and storage components. The SS32-2U4 also features CameraDefense™ automated hardening to protect cameras from unauthorized access. Remote management is supported through Razberi Monitor, a health monitoring software that reduces on-site maintenance and costly service calls. Additional features include support for an optional Nvidia T1000 8GB GPU, four hot-plug enterprise HDDs with optional RAID, and storage scalability up to 88TB. The open-platform design is certified with leading VMS and analytics providers, ensuring seamless system integration.
